Check out my daughter, Emily's new landscape blog...scroll to the bottom of her blog to see a video she made-- http://www.evdesigns.blogspot.com/

Oh, my goodness...what is happening to the time---it flies by with never a minute lately to play with my jewerly. I'll have to share something besides jewelry with you today. If you have a minute stop by my daughter's new blog. She is a landscape designer here in Los Angeles and just started a new blog. If you scroll down to the bottom of her blog , you can see a video she submitted for a new landscape design show to be produced for TV. Who knows where that will go, but in the meantime you'll get a great idea of her personality and why I'm so blessed to be her mother. She's a very talented artist and landscape designer as well as an all around lovely person.
She'll be adding video's of landscaping hints before long to her blog, so if landscaping is one of your interests, you might want to check back periodically to see what she has to say!

Sweet Sunday Afternoon

This is sure to take you to your happy place, put a smile on your face and a little rhythm in your soul. Well, I don't know how to do this right...so I'll just put in a link that I hope works...

I've been knee deep in a project to redo our home office, so a little computer downtime is just part of the package. I'm really planning on getting to my jewelry this week. I'll be doing a jewelry class with 10 year olds on Tuesday, which I think will be alot of fun, and very low stress. I'll try to remember to take pictures to share!

HUGS and happy Sunday!

Lost and Found....

An abundant stash of findings and beads is a very good thing...I can start digging thru the goodies and find just the thing to catch my fancy at a moments notice. I stole a few minutes from my 'work' and put together this bracelet with some artisan oxidized copper findings I got awhile back from Holly at Blind Cave Fish Designs. I combined the copper with some yummy artisan lampwork from Gelly that I've been hoarding. The finished design is an organic look that was fun to put together. Since I rarely work with copper, it gave me a real change of pace!

Well, did you think I got lost on my way home from the office??? I didn't mean to be a.w.o.l. for so long, but now that we finally got moved out of our business digs...there wasn't much decompression time before I barrelled into another project for my husband. It's really a good thing that I'm getting to help out a little, because he usually takes the full brunt of all the responsibilities. So glad I can do my little part for a change. I'm the eBay 'expert' in the family and there's alot of merchandise from our closing that we won't be using at our new place when it gets open. So I'm doing homework on lots of golf goodies and listing them on eBay. It's a big job that's kept me very busy...but I did take a couple of hours to put together a simple bracelet with some things from my stash...and I'll be back at my work/play bench as soon as I can get my 'sponsiblilties taken care of!
